The Full Story

Hi! My name is Meredith Carter-Kilpatrick.  I'm the founder of PAWSITIVE DAY pet sitting.  I have always had a love and passion for understanding and learning about different types of animals.  My childhood was filled with amazing memories of volunteering at shelters and rescuing wounded wildlife while hiking the beautiful NC Blue Ridge mountains as a child.  We have owned horses, donkeys, chickens, rabbits, birds...the list could go on and on!  So, I will not discriminate towards any size, breed, or age of any pet!  We currently have five rescue dogs, one dog who is in palliative care, one guinea pig and a bearded dragon.  My house isn't a home without pets!

I know the great importance of having reliable, professional help with pets when you go out of town, on vacations, working long shifts, or maybe just need a break from time to time.  I have many years of personal experience with animal care.  I also have 16+ years work knowledge in the medical field.  My training sometimes correlates into the animal world by knowing certain medications, noticing certain behaviors and symptoms of the pet.  I want you to know that your pet is safe with me at all times.  My current goal is to provide my town and surrounding areas with wonderful pet sitting care.  I will offer dog walking, daily visits, dog park trips, potty breaks, kitty care and overnights.
